COVID-19 | India seems set for extension of lockdown till April 30 The country seems to be all set for a two week extension of the nationwide #lockdown.
There are very strong indications that PM Narendra Modi may announce the extension of lockdown by April 30.
The same has been confirmed by the likes of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who tweeted that the Prime Minister has taken correct decision to extend lockdown.
Meanwhile, Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma disclosing the details about the PM Narendra Modi's video conferencing said that most Chief Minister's were in favour of extending the lockdown.
Sangma said that the states have suggested to extend the lockdown which means that there should be no interstate movement.
However, Sangma said that there were also indications that certain restrictions need to be relaxed keeping in mind the weaker sections of the society.
