Most EPIC WEDGE Big Wave Session Ever? Every Ride at the Wedge on April 9, 2020

Maybe not the biggest ever, but the fact that I stood in the pouring rain for 3 hours to capture all the rides on this night make this night pretty darn special. Some of the best surfing, bodyboarding, and bodysurfing athletes in SoCal gathered tonight in what felt like a going out party for the Wedge. Effective the day after this was captured the Newport Beach city council decided that The Wedge needed to be closed to protect the surfers from Covid-19. Honestly, once the Wedge showed up on TMZ we pretty much all knew it was over. Ugh....
