With employee wellbeing our number one priority, we've brought in additional warehouse health and safety measures to keep our staff as safe and comfortable as possible while working during the COVID-19 crisis. Our aim with this health and safety video is to offer an insight into what you can expect when coming back to work. As part of our efforts to keep you safe, we've installed temporary signage telling you where to go once you arrive at work (it may be that you have to use a different entrance) and there will also be staggered entry to avoid staff pile-ups.
You'll need to keep two metres apart at all times while at work - but the bright signage and clear floor plans will serve as constant reminders for social distancing. We've also created a one-way system around the warehouse so Next staff can remain as safe as possible. (The two-metre rule also applies when you're on a break or waiting to go to the toilet.) In addition, some of the workstations now have additional doors too to keep you away from those in the walkway.
We've also installed more sinks to limit the spread of the virus and have also provided 'Keep Clean Kits' to every employee. There are also additional hand sanitiser stations and you'll need to wipe down your workstation at the beginning and end of every day.
Employee health and safety is of the utmost importance to us, so we hope this offers some insight into what we're doing to keep you safe while at work.
