Getting Familiar with Samsung DeX
If you’ve used a Galaxy smartphone, the Samsung DeX interface will be familiar. For example, you’ll notice that the icons in the DeX task bars are the same as on your smartphone.
Starting from left to right, you'll find:
- App Tray: to access all the apps on your device
- Recent Apps: to quickly jump between open applications
- Home: to get back to your home screen or desktop
Notifications, which you’d usually find by swiping down on your device, are also accessible in the next task bar
To the right of that you’ll find your quick settings, which include: Bluetooth settings, Wi-Fi settings, signal strength and battery life.
Within the final taskbar, you can also access useful functions like your Virtual Keyboard, your volume controls and a handy Search tool.
